Governor DeWine highlights impact of DPILO

At Governor DeWine’s State of the State address on March 10, he highlighted some major accomplishments over the last seven years, including the work we have done here at Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Ohio.

• Ohio has more children enrolled in the Imagination Library than any other state in the country. Nearly 419,000 Ohio children will receive a book in the mail this month – with no cost to families!

• Every Ohio foster child under the age of 5 is automatically enrolled to receive a free book each month.

• Additionally, Ohio continues to be the only state in the country where parents can enroll their child at the hospital immediately after birth!
